KemperHIPE Golf is owned jointly by three Chicago entities -- HIPE Media, Emerald South Economic Development Collaborative and KemperSports. KemperHIPE Golf represents a unique combination of the skills and resources of KemperSports, a Chicago company with over 45 years of golf course management experience, HIPE Media, a social impact organization that utilizes sport and storytelling led by Chicagoan Roger Steele, and Emerald South whose mission is to attract and coordinate community investment and collaborative partnerships in Chicago’s mid-south side.

A Vision for the Future of Golf in Chicago and Beyond
We believe that for more meaningful and continued growth to take place, it must happen at the local level, one facility and golfer at a time. What began as a shared sponsorship of two CPS high school golf programs has since grown to include a third high school program, a brand-new youth golf facility, and the creation of a new caddie academy. Taking the lessons learned in our backyard of Chicago, KHG has a blueprint for success to expand our mission’s reach to other communities across the country.
